Vintage Style 2 x 3 Antiqued US Flag

This 50 state current flag of the United States is made in the USA. Each US cotton flag is custom tea-stained by hand so each one will be unique. The result is a cotton flag in a vintage style with that wonderful old antique look and feel. (Note: the stars are embroidered with non-cotton thread and may remain slightly brighter than the rest of the antiqued flag.) This size of USA flag normally measures 24 x 36 inches (2 by 3 feet), but the flags shrink at least an inch or so in each direction as a result of the antiquing process. Two metal grommets are attached on the flag hoist side.

Caring for your Tea Stained Antiqued 3 x 5 US Flag

Antiqued flags should be displayed indoors or outside in a protected area. Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, rain and wind will fade the antiquing process and colors.

US flag meaning

The American flag features a fifty white five pointed stars in a blue field covering the top left corner of the flag. The bottom and right portion of the US flag consists of thirteen stripes of alternating white and red. White is the symbol of purity. Blue is the symbol of loyalty. Red is the symbol of bravery. The red next to the white may suggest that purity enables bravery and that the flag states hold together as long as each state remains pure of purpose and brave. The white stars in the middle of a blue field suggest that as each state stands loyal to the the other states the whole will be in unity. The blue side holds to the flagpole and suggests loyalty (holding on and remaining faithful in spite of trial) and allows the colors of bravery and purity to wave proudly for all to see.
