What is Dichroic glass?

Made from multiple layers of metals, like gold or silver, and metal oxides like titanium, zirconium, chromium and magnesium. The metals are vaporized by electron beams in a vacuum chamber, which condenses on the surface of the glass forming a crystalline structure. The finished art glass necklace and earring set can have as many as 30 layers of these materials.
