Dawn at the Alamo Battle Print
The original, completed in 1905 by artist Henry A McArdle was a labor of love and involved extensive research into the details behind the battle of the Alamo. This painting depicts the final assault began in the early morning hours of March 6th, 1836 between the troops of General Santa and the resolute Texian defenders.
