Commissioned by the Texas Sesquicentennial Press in Austin, this physical map was a joint effort of four artists: Richard Hubbard - physical map base, Philip Trussell - Eagle and Quetzalcoatl, Sharon Roos - calligrapher and yellow rose, Ed Aiken - airbrush of Gulf of Mexico
