The Roman Bronze Works began the original lost wax casting of The Cheyenne in 1901. This
Frederic Remington fine art reproduction of that item known as The Cheyenne displays an indian brave at full gallop.
Remington bronzes challenged the sculpture techniques of his day by the innovative ways that the art was presented. On the Cheyenne for example, notice that none of the horses hoofs touch the ground creating fluidity of movement.
These Remington bronzes (the original Cheyenne being about 21.5 inches height) is one of the more famous sculptures of Remington, depicting life in the early West from our
western bronze sculptures collection.

Like the original Remington sculptures, these western art reproductions are produced using the same lost wax casting method which is usually preferred to sand casting as it retains a closer resemblance to the artist original model.
