John Ewing sculpture of the Passion of the Christ entitled Easter One. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea are shown lowering the broken body of Jesus down from the cross.
This bronze sculpture measures 32 high x 26 wide x 24 deep in inches. The sculpture is mounted on a 4 x 30 x 28 lacquered base made of heart Rimu wood, a beautiful red-brown hardwood native to New Zealand. This sculpture is a limited edition of 9 pieces which are individually hand signed by the artist and numbered. The approximate weight is 82 pounds for the bronze and base combined.
